Community Brigades in Mexico

This podcast is a part of the Flood Resilience Podcast series. The main objective of this podcast is to share the local learnings from best practices related to saving lives and livelihoods and to improve outreach and impact of such resilient practices at a global level. In this podcast episode, community members from Manuel Buelta y Rayón discuss how Community Brigades help to better prepare for and respond to floods at a community level. They discuss how factors such as knowledge sharing, supporting neighbours, organising and coordinating community actions, monitoring the risk of flooding and sharing early warnings help community members to be resilient in the face of flooding.
